Hopefully he wont be missed. Nearly gave a penalty away against Portsmouth and looked dodgy against Tranmere until he came off.

I really dont rate the bloke, infact i think he's totally shyte so seeing he is unavailable for selection for a month is actually good news to me.
Everytime he plays we look like we could concede anytime the balls in our half. He weakens us massively.

On Sunday I was way more nervous when he was playing than when he wasnt.

In fact I would say McLoughlin had a very good second half. Solid.

We never looked like conceding against Pompey until he came on and then he nearly gave away a Pen.
He's a complete liability in my opinion, and should probably be playing in League 2 nevermind a team fighting for promotion.

I totally agree, you wonder why LJ cant see this, it worries me, either he sees something I certainly can't, or he is one hell of a lucky manager, only time will tell. Its not like these flaws have just become apparent he has always looked a liability, and the longer he is on the field the worse he gets. Earlier in the season we lost a lot of points conceding late goals on due to his lapses and its all recorded. I have to say, while feeling sorry for the lad, this injury is another pointer to luck playing its part

Let's trust LJ judgement. I guess he looks good in training, lack of composure in games could be down to lack of (consistent) game time.
LJ changed Wyke around, but got rid of Graham and Grigg so he obviously is OK with dropping players who aren't good enough.

On another note, glad Hume is back in full training. Looking forward to seeing him again

Flanagan was miles from being fit against Pompey and Tranmere. The injury is unfortunate as we could do with the bodies

That said, with Beckenbaeur and Maldini being reunited again tonight with Cafu coming in at RB (hopefully) I feel reasonably confident.
Be nice to get Wright back too, but there is no rush given the form we are in. Hume coming back will be a major boost

"Being monitored" according to the Echo

I reckon O'Brien might play tonight - he was close to playing Sunday
Jones probs out though as it's a hamstring tweak

if there's any risk on Jones i'd want him saved for the weekend.

I don't mind risking O'Brien as he's a different kind of player who doesn't rely on explosiveness

I think Johnson takes his time, when possible, to decide on players.

With the run of defensive injuries it's not been too simple ...

... Burge's head must be spinning by now.

He has one good game every so often! But more poor than good. (And even in his “good” games he doesn’t instill confidence!!!

Connor McLaughlin is a better at centre half than him comfortably. And Luke O’Nien is close to one of the best at the club!!
Sanderson is fit though isn’t he?

Yes Sanderson is fit. He was cup tied on Sunday.
