After 10 plus years here i've had enough. Its just all too much and the last year has taken its toll..Ellers being quite frankly a dick...Wooperts incescant racist memes about Diane abbott.. ...its too much.
Respect to most posters..Beth number 1! .99's especially and Kiwi (although my pics better so up your game!) Staines...Cate...too many to say! I might return but for now over and out.. I hope not missed out anyone but love you all. Will still read but not post I think. Love to you all...yes even you Ellers! Guys...be nicer ok? Thats all.

If you met Ellers in real life surreyhoop, he is a top bloke just like you and me. Many posters have met him on this site and he is just a normal person. Not606 QPR is not normal life. The internet, I do know is full of weirdo's but I've met a lot of people who post on here, but despite they're online persona, don't take it to heart. The internet can sometimes be a ****ty place, but most of the posters on this site would get along in real life just fine. Even if they don't seem to do so on here. I've seen it at first hand.

Very well said, 999's.
We all have our moments and we all need to take a brake every now and then but the over years l've witness many kind acts and words from members genuinely interested in the wellbeing of others at their time of need. You don't find that on many forums so even though we might agree to disagree on many points, there is camaraderie amongst members which is special.

Hey Surrey just take a break I did because it annoyed me that I got annoyed with a couple of posters but came back part time because there is more better than bad on here

Nice one Didley, we're a small band of brothers on here. We harbour a small corner of the internet. We share more in common than what divides us, let's embrace that than all the other **** such as the politics thread. That is the true poison on here.

Can only echo what others have said above Surrey. The true thread through Not606 Superhoops followers is our club.
It’s full of honest interesting and friendly people who all are generally respectful. Sure some topics get heated, but that’s the usual pub discussions that always happen. We will always have our points of view and beliefs.
Personally, I keep out of the politics. It’s always bound to raise differences, strong opinions, emotions and unfortunately sometimes disagreements. It’s a shame when things get out of hand - but I know our mods do their very best to keep things sane.
As long as everyone doesn’t get too personal it rolls along pretty good. There’s a lot of good and kind people on here. We will always welcome you back when you’re ready to post again Surrey... or just stick to the football threads and enjoy why we are all here (the highs and the frustrations) - our beloved QPR!

Surrey, my sincere apologies if I or fellow posters have caused you undue anxiety or upset.

This forum binds us through our passion for all things QPR more so than anything else. Take a break and become a passive contributor, avoid some of the off topic crap. Most importantly take care of yourself, but do come back when you are ready, seek professional mental health assistance if it all gets too much.

Sad to see you having a break Surrey.

It also saddens me to see my name mentioned in the post as one of the reasons. As Nines quite politely pointed out in real life I never discuss any politics when I meet friends at Rangers, never. I am just a normal bloke who loves QPR and not some raving political speaker that I come across on here as.
The politics thread can get a bit silly at times… especially in lockdown.
I’m sure things will start getting back to normal once we can see our Rangers again.

Anyway my apologies if I have upset you on that thread and hopefully we can see you back soon.

Totally understandable Surrey, all the best mate.

We've lost a number of posters over the years due to some of the WUMs we get on here.
I'm as guilty as anyone of getting too personal etc at times, but one or two posters simply set out to wind up and upset people with some of their posts, but I suppose that's just a reflection of social media.
Having said that, as others have said, it's QPR that binds us all and I'm sure we'd all celebrate together like long lost brothers if we were all together at a game and Rangers scored.
Also, as others have said, everyone I've met on here (with one brief exception) have been very friendly and decent people.

I’d add that all the people from on here who I’ve met for real are both charming and also recognisable versions of their on line personas, not completely different at all.

Remove the politics thread and anything to do with religion, as they say don't bother arguing over politics or religion. I have strong views on this government but have never aired them.
Oh yeah get rid of the word thread. Pointless brain dead nonsense.
Come back Surrey, you have vented off now, did you notice nobody said good bye or good riddance which normally happens on forums when someone announces they are leaving.
