Surrey...sorry just got up and saw your post, obviously I could see it coming and I am really sorry and will miss your measured and sensible and thoughtful posts.
I do hope you will take a break and come back to us, because we are actually a caring and kind band of " brothers".
As others have said, those of you who I have met have been really lovely. No it was not me who gave you a plate of food in the pub in Kingsbury Ellers, I decided not to pub, but do the walk to Wembley...
I know some of the threads can descend into name calling and contains rather strong views from all sides of the political spectrum and definitely some "baiting". As 999s said many moons ago, we do not heavily mod that thread, depending more on a little self control which is not always there.
I strongly believe in free speech, as people need to understand another persons thought processes and worries and address them.
Anyway Surrey, please take a breathe, but please come back and contribute the threads that really matter the ones that bind us to our magnificent team the Sooperhoopsa

To be honest, that experience was from sticking my head in the politics thread a couple of times. But there were quite a few questionable posts. Maybe that particular period of posting was a bad example and not really indicative of how things normally are.

I’m gonna be honest mate.....this comes across a bit like we are lucky to have you stay on the board.
If you don’t like it then you’re not forced to read or post......just leave. I’ve done it a few times for varying lengths of time if something or other pisses me off and it ....and to be honest it makes me feel better for it and I get to chill.
