They've paid for the privilege of sponsoring us for this season when other sponsors weren't exactly queuing up, let's look to next season for a better deal
'crooked ' in what way?. As far as I know the lad who owns the Asbestos company is a massive lifelong fan, he's a poster on RTG and I remember him following us on all the pre-season trips over the years, and he's obviously supported the club with his money at a time we've needed it most. Unless somethings happened that I'm unaware of, I don't see a downside to this. Not sure what the OP is getting at?
As an automation tech - have to say - these are great sponsors: https://ar-controls.co.uk/what-we-do/
They are the main sponsor of the cricket club I play for. Lad that runs it is a good mate of one of the players. Seems a canny lad from what I’ve seen and heard of him. Massive lads fan who is at all the games.
I think the OP should probably explain what he means by calling our shirt sponsors crooks. Quick google brings up noting but good reviews
They’re a business energy consultant. I’ve several pals work for either GAS, NGP or Green Energy, who all do the same things. They are far from crooks, they make money by saving people money. They take a cut, so they could save people more, but they also save people time which is invaluable in business. They also get a lower rate than you could negotiate yourself due to reputation and buying power. Its a ruthless numbers first business, but it’s actually very transparent, and not ‘crooked’ in the least bit. I’ve very nearly gone and worked in that game a few times.
Tbf if contract has been signed till end of seasons thats that. No point pulling halfway through anyway would just end up costing money.
