Prominent Brexiter MP, ERG member and former cabinet minister Owen Paterson, who does a few hours ‘advisory’ work a month for a company called Randox in exchange for a paltry £100k per year, by pure coincidence, they only went and dropped for £480m worth of COVID contracts, what’s the odds? Spooky.

TBF Randox manufacture self tests which have been very successful and are probably the market leader. I would put my neck on the line and say they would have secured that contract with or without Paterson’s input. I think I also read that they had taken on an additional 850 staff due to there COVID contract commitments.

They got a 6 month extension to their contract last year, for supplying the Chinese sourced testing kits, after 750,000 of them had to withdrawn after they were found to not be sterile. An extension that was awarded unopposed and without tender. Horse racing appears to be a recurring theme within the entire Govt COVID contracts ‘strategy’ btw.

It wasn’t that they were not sterile, they didn’t have the necessary swab certificate to meet CE requirements. My initial point still remains, Randox was a company that provided self test kits and services before COVID, so would have the expertise and supply chain in place. That doesn’t mean that they should not be fully audited to ensure that the contracts were fair for the services provided.
There are plenty of other examples of contracts being awarded to individuals / companies who never had the expertise to fulfil contracts awarded. These would be where I focused my investigations.

The tubes leaked.

I largely agree on the rest of that, but the contract extension being unadvertised and therefore unopposed, especially after there being issues during the initial one is a massive red flag imo.

Thats not why the 750k were recalled mate. I read the Sunday Times article at the time because my company were in the process of purchasing a couple of hundred of these self tests. There was a supply issue where some “out of date” tests were supplied, along with some where the tubes leaked, but these were relatively minor in comparison to the issue with the missing “swab certs” for the CE marking.
I’m not trying to defend Randox by the way, I just think out of all the dodgy dealings that went on, this company did at least legitimately have the necessary qualifications to be part of the contracts awarded.

What we gonna do about the corruption boys.....

Errr, let’s not vote or become active in what we want to change eh......

sounds like a grand pan you anarchists

It does make me laugh. Whereas out in the real world you have people such as swampy and his son taking real action (Euston Square), for something they believe in. Now it dosen't matter if you agree with these people, they certainly know how to cause the authorities a headache, as well has contractors, and the many millions of tax payers money to get them out. Whereas Aber, types words on the internet. I know out of the two of them who I have the most respect.

Again you try and deflect from yourself. I don't care what swampy would think of me, that wasn't the point, the point was I have more respect for him and his son, rather than some guy that posts words on the internet. So even if he hated me, it shows respect can be earned, people will look and take notice, without bias, whereas you just post a load of dribble everyday, with no real action, yet you strongly believe we are all being manipulated. Very strange, nowt to do with having a drug ravaged brain I'm sure.

I read the conversations yesterday and apart from posting a couple of gifs, to be visible to the board, I kept out of the convo, as not wanting to gang up on him, as he was getting rag dolled. No one was around earlier today, so it was fitting chance to have my say.

I don't agree with Swampy and Son, I can't because I like using high speed links. However, I have a lot of respect for what they put themselves through to be heard. Aber certainly has some outlandish views, I'd look forward to engaging with him from beneath the garden rhubarb.

As you have said, whether you agree with what they do is largely irrelevant, but unlike our keyboard anarchist they use actions rather than a few words on a internet forum.

It could just be stomach flu, but I've never had stomach issues longer than a day or 2.. Its a strange one pepto bismol had has no effect . I'd looked up the symptoms of a tapeworm before realising it might be just covid... Its day 7 tomorrow

Sounds like Bad Aids mate, that. It'll probably clear up in a few days, before it comes back and kills you.
