There was a Danish crime drama called Follow The Money that ran on I think BBC4 maybe More 4 about 4 years ago .
It ran for 3 series I think .
It perfectly summed up the level or corruption that exists in major democracies .

Haha, that would be the usual line without doubt. Only this time they’ve got a real issue with that cover all, as they themselves created a sort of VIP list of companies who could be supposedly trusted without the usual due diligence being applied due to the urgency of demand. Which in itself isn’t maybe a major issue, until you look at the detail and see businesses that were literally new start ups with a net worth of £100, that dropped for multi million £ contracts. It ****ing reeks to high heaven, hence the ‘not in the public interest’ attempt at silencing court actions, which has failed miserably, as they haven’t quite got to the point where they also completely control the judicial process YET.

I did laugh when Hancock was spouting on after the recent case that these companies were producing vitally needed PPE when even with a tiny amount of knowledge on this subject you know that "companies" were awarded contracts to source PPE not produce it .
Though quite why a myriad of companies was better than just using one or 2 . experienced procurement firms is beyond me .
