Can you please explain to me why that isn't a red for TAA? I'll use Bednerak v utd and the David luiz red where there's no attempt to play the ball and denying a goal scoring opportunity.
Well you can't use Bednarek as his red got rescinded. But yeah, technically he didn't actually make an attempt to play the ball.
Hmmm ...... that was a bit harsh I reckon (even though it pains me to say) - AA was sliding, there was nothing he could do and DCL caught his knee on the back of his head. I’d have been pretty pissed off (but unsurprised) if it had been given against Saints.
