He has looked a lot better today. Not that I want Spurs to do well but it would be good to see him back to his best - already wasted 2 years on the bench.
Don't like west ham, but good in a way to see one of the most undecorated clubs in the league mixing it with the big boys.
Just think ..... if Liverpool don’t qualify for Europe this year, do you reckon players like Salah, Mane, Van Dijk, Firmino, etc will stay and try to qualify next season, or go to a “big club” who are in the CL? That’s an intriguing thought and one I’m quite pleased to ponder upon ....
With no Grealish, this could be a long day for Villa. I don’t think they’re that good and today they may well be caught out .....
They might be willing to accept one leaving. But they're hardly going to sanction an entire clear out. If I was a Liverpool fan, I wouldn't be worried about losing current players. I'd be worried about missing out on new players.
I wonder if they will plunder Wolves again, and this time for Neto. I can see Firmino going, with Jota being a natural replacement, and signing Neto, and letting some fringe players go, like Shaqiri and Origi. Their current crop of Mane and Salah still have a 3 really good years in them, but as you say, their other risk is losing out on others. I saw some articles linking them with Mbappe, and cant see that coming off, i dont think they’d pay the money unless he runs his deal down.
Anyone else think Mourinho is on a crash course to being the next England manager, after Southgate fails to get us past the Round of 16 in the Euros? (it’ll either be against France, Germany or Portugal)...
