Horrible to hear about the racist abuse. The worst thing was that once he was sent off I knew there would be some racist abuse given to him online and this is a horrible reflection on modern society. I know it's hard to catch culprits in these instances but when they do they should get the book thrown at them. Case today in Ireland with a young lad charged with racially abusing Ian Wright online. He gets off with a fine and avoids a criminal record. The Irish judicial system is a joke for sentencing but seem to love giving out ridiculous money for outragious claims...Social media really is a poisonous cesspit

The Leeds game we couldn't play because of the Shrewsbury game has been rearranged to Tuesday 23rd February.

We play Chelsea the Saturday before, while Leeds play on the Friday before. We then don't play until the Monday after.

Would have been nice if it was scheduled for the Wednesday to get more rest after Chelsea.

Oh that takes me back! Lovely to see Mick taking it easy while the others sweated, once he’d beaten Colin Bell in the 100m.

Colin Bell died just last month of course, and Tony Greig in 2012. All the others are still with us fortunately.

Edit: Ron Pickering passed away in 1991 and David Vine in 2009.

But just as a reference point to anyone thinking he might be alright and not a catastrophic bellend.

There are certain things in life you avoid like reading the Daily Mail, voting Tory or listening to Talk Sport. If I ever do any of those three things you have my permission to shoot me.

Detest the guy & the show. Yep, used to listen but it’s just the ultimate WUM & that’s their USP. Can be a bit funny, if it’s not your team but really such anal drivel.

Think the last anyone heard, was he was hoping to start kicking a football around by the end of January.

Long way to go I think, and he's out of contract in the summer- hope the club extend it just to help him recover and potentially find a new club.
