I'm not so sure. If you had asked me before Christmas I would have said Sunak but he is going well with the vaccine. He got Brexit done, although even a hard Leaver like myself realises that we need to sort out a few issues. Once Covid is over and we get back to some sort of normality I think he will give it another shot.
Not so sure they could have slated Smith for his personal appearance as he always seemed very statesman like whenever I saw him. If he hadn’t of died I truly believe he would have been a great PM
As a Tory, I would describe John Smith as the leader we never had but should have. Never really had a bad word to say against him. Sad that he died letting in the war criminal.
Apparently Captain Hindsight wanted afters with Boris at the end of PMQs over the EMA thing. Someone has said he walked up to Boris face to face (No Mask) and had to be led away by another Labour MP. ooooooooh!
Apparently not. It also appears Official parliamentary records show Keir Starmer did say the UK should stay in the EMA. I have just read that. this is going to be fun.
Is this going to be one of those things where you quote Guido and The Spectator for hours, holding the other side to an infinitely higher standard than your own?
eer listen to the video and tell us all what he said... He lied in the House today. Something you and a few cronies on here moan about with Boris. Accept it and stop defending in indefensible because you will make yourself look stupid again.
I’m not defending it. If he lied then naughty Kier indeed. If he made an innocent mistake, still naughty Kier. If his incompetence and laziness contributed heavily to the deaths of 108,000 people and counting then even naughtier Kier. Maybe you can start calling out your own side who are actually running the country.
Bollocks? seems to be a lot of people talking it then? Just not according to the bloke who apparently had to rush in. Shame really as it would make a nice change for someone to nut the wobbly old **** for all the blood on his hands.
The political press who were there are now saying there was a confrontation... but according to some it's all bollocks? mmm who should I believe here?
I think but for his loss and later Robin Cook, we'd have a very different country now. Two men of principle...
He asked those questions (about all EU agencies) as shadow Brexit-secretary, before he was Labour Leader and before there was a pandemic. If anyone was lying (or, to be charitable, bending the truth), it was Johnson. If Johnson had answered the original question with, 'In the event of a pandemic, I think that we will be better able to source and deploy vaccines outside the EMA' you might have a point, but I doubt that he did. Perhaps JRM can furnish us with another YouTube clip. I hope Starmer chased him up the stairs kicked his fat arse..
The thing is Watford, you just reply to be awkward. If I say black you will say White even if you haven't got a clue. Today I said Starmer lied and there was a confrontation after. You said 'probably bollocks' and you also tried to defend Starmer. Twice you were wrong and twice you made yourself look stupid. But don't worry you will probably get the 'like-ly Lads' supporting your rubbish.
I said the confrontation was bollocks as it most likely is because you dived in gleefully assuming it was correct when in all likelihood it’s at best hugely exaggerated. As ever, you need a fact-checker given the array of nonsense you insist on posting here.
