I did go round for a dinner party once but it was impossible to speak to all 700 guests.
I would suggest that the other 3452 “friends” that he has for every occasion are mostly in his head.

Boris Johnson, on the other hand.....![]()
But that’s the thing....the donkey jacket episode was entirely made up by the right wing press at the time....along with his supposed ‘scruffiness’. But now of course it’s been passed down and has somehow become fact. All manipulation.

This was the occasion. It probably wasn't a donkey jacket but it was too informal for a large part of the electorate's tastes
My late father was disgusted by his appearance at certain occasions/memorials. unelectable. You must log in or register to see images

I’m much more disgusted by Johnson’s (in)actions than whether or not the people who dress him in the morning make him look marginally less like a giant uncooked sausage in an M&S suit.
The alleged “donkey jacket” was in fact an expensive coat bought for him by his wife to wear over his suit to stay warm....and was complimented on by the Queen Mother......
But hey, ho......why let the facts get in the way of a sensational story.
I believe that. However the general feeling at the time was that it wan't formal enough to wear at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day.
And again Goldie, that’s my point. At the time their was a complete hatchet job done on Foot.....his dress sense, his demeanour...even unfounded rumours of him working for the KGB (That still go on to this day)......if the MSM want to get you....they so surely will.
An interesting article. I forgot the one about Peter Mandelson thinking mushy peas was guacamole. Classic. And Hague covering his bone dome with a baseball cap. To be fair, he did wear caps, just not at the Notting Hill carnival
Yes, they did, but as I say, he did give them ammunition. They never got at Blair's appearance the same way, and I don't think they will against Starmer's. Hague had a difficult time with the bone dome.
I really do try to take everyone on merit.......but reckon it’s very easy to be blinded by the MSM. A prime example is Katie Price.......she’s been vilified for years by the press, and of course at times doesn’t help herself.......however after seeing the way she is coping with her disabled son, I’ve seen a different side to her.
As someone who followed England abroad for many years.....I’ve learnt the press lie about you to sell papers.
But then isn’t it a bad thing that we as an electorate are more interested in the way our leaders look, rather than the way they act and govern ?
We will see who people vote for in 4 years, the uncooked sausage or 'Captain remain/leave Hindsight'. I know who my money's firmly on.I’m much more disgusted by Johnson’s (in)actions than whether or not the people who dress him in the morning make him look marginally less like a giant uncooked sausage in an M&S suit.
