Okay last one as I need to go and do some work This one kind of went under the radar a bit at the time, but it was a brilliantly constructed and totally original game. Skool Daze please log in to view this image
My brother was (and still is) a total computer nerd. He bought a ZX81 back when they first came out. 1K of memory ! I remember him saving up to buy a 16k expansion pack, and we played a game called 3D monster maze. A total ****ing revelation back in 1983 !
If you got a go at that in my junior school you had been impeccable behaviour wise....... I got on there once and enjoyed killing my frog under car and lorry wheels.
Now look what you've started @Spurlock lol. Right, can't leave this thread without posting this one. Match Day Even remember in the instructions, it spoke about the game having 'diamond edge' technology, so that the ball would deflect off of players in 8 different ways. My old watch...... Great **** out in the early 80s guys. VHS or betamax....... Rental or non rental...... Repossession or avoid the embarrassing appearance of granada bailiffs at the door.
Girlfriend at Uni and me literally played this ****er for 48 hours non-stop once ... most of which was spent in the ****ing goblin's jungle
That’s not very nice to call your girlfriend a Goblin bro. Only joking Fos, so no need to go off on one. Had that Hobbit game too, my one came with the novel too, which is where I first read it. Remember the game being hugely frustrating when you were in the Goblin caves trying to find your way out and the little ****ers kept locking you in that dungeon !
remember being small enough 2 be able 2 ride the tank, must have been padding in my rupert bear trousers
Can’t recall if I had company whilst playing cant think of anythin worse than having a nagging **** next to me wanting to play aswell “2 player, 2 player” “fk off dikhed”
fking great game....especially when grange hill was showing the young generation how 2 be twats in school
Match Day was good as a 2 player as the AI was pretty basic and you could pretty much batter teams 8-0 most times. So playing your mates always threw some unknowns into the equation.
Had bare original Star Wars figures always wanted an At-At was even willing to believe in Santa for one but the fat **** didn’t deliver
one of my guilty pleasures as a kid ......i didnt own one but my mates sister did please log in to view this image
