then going downstairs for about 10 minutes till it loaded

I could be here for ****ing hours talking about Spectrum games lol.

I did actually download an emulator for my Laptop a few years ago and played all my faves again. Great thing to do if you've got a few hours to kill.

Anybody remember this one. Lotus Esprit Turbo. You used to drive round a city chasing drug dealers and ramming them off the road. Was mad realistic for it's time. Like a first incarnation of GTA

Daley Thompson’s decathlon though <laugh>

Smashing the **** out of the Z and X buttons then hammering the rubber space bar lol

Jet set willy was a bonkers game and the map was huge. Prefered that to Manic Miner, although it was an absolute Spectrum classic.

The one game that truly did play better on the C64......one mate had an amstrad and a game exclusive to that console called sorcery.....i fking loved that game
