A few years ago 'Look North' had a piece on about a N/C Fan who absolutely, 100%, refused to have anything Red & White in his house, at any time.

So most of his Xmas cards got binned for a start, Santa being so popular.

And sd long as it made him happy, then fair enough but it obviously just contributed to the overall grumpy miserable unhappy soul that he was.

They might have to improve a lot from this fact. Long may it continue! :1980_boogie_down:

you know, the really annoying part in all this is that any other club with such dire stats who struggle to find the opponents goal would be sat bottom of the league with one huge points gap...i really think the fans should thank steve bruce for sticking with them through such an obvious 'blip' in his otherwise spotless managerial career.

Yet the idiot didn't seem to realise that the flag on his club crest is red (and usually on a white background) <doh> :emoticon-0136-giggl

If he knew his clubs' actual history, he'd know the Mags were originally Newcastle East End, who played in red and white kit given to them by SAFC and when they moved to Sid James Park and took over the bankrupt Newcastle West End they had to keep some red in their kit. Hence the red on the club crest.

Come on Fulham!

I didn't believe Newcastle could manage to be relegated but their next 3 away games are Everton, Chelsea and Man Utd which could be demoralising.

Bruce was funny on Look North last night.

"We've had all these injuries and Covid to deal with ...

... but I don't want to make excuses." <laugh>

He does that after every match.

Joelinton in a bit of trouble.
