My sister and brother in law in Hull have just had their first Pfizer vaccine injection and been told not to expect a second dose for up to 12 weeks. They are both in their late 70's.

Yes, it looks like many are being advised of the possibility of the extended programme, although I personally know others that received the second dose within the suppliers recommended time scales. I suspect (but don't know) that as the bulk of the at risk receive protection from the initial dose, they will be invited for the second dose to fill any gaps.

Did anyone get chance to watch it... interesting watch. Strikes me the people who let this go unchallenged was the WHO. (Of course China did all they could to mis inform) It was said that in all the years of its existence the CEO of the WHO has never 'called a country out' despite International law/obligations to inform of an issue/emergency within 24 hours. The damning thing was the last 2 minutes. Someone interviewed said 'we must learn from this, information must be made available immediately, because it will happen again'.... part 2 tonight.

It's the old addage 'don't bite the hand that feeds'....The WHO aren't going to start slating their funders whichever Country that may involve.

As far as I know the only ones who got the suppliers recommended timescales were those that had appointments booked in before the rules changed. So even if it was after the Govt decision as long as you already had the date booked before then they stuck with it.
Otherwise they are trying not to in order to get as many people as possible the first dose.

I can see that will be the general process, but there are a number of occasions where the second jab has been within the timescales. I also know of people that have worked out ways of getting the jab before their allotted tier, although they didn't take up the slot of a more vulnerable person. Point being, there is the general principle, which is subject to local variations.

I'm on the centre left, and a believer in civil liberties, but they should have called the police and they should tasered the ****ing fruitcake ****!

He's actually done a follow up video to carry it on in the same whacky way to 'justify' his behaviour. I couldn't be arsed to watch it, never mind post it on here.

I know some favour blocking fruit cakes like that, but I think it's useful for people to see just how ridiculous their views are in reality.

Cases continuing to plummet week on week.

Deaths dropped slightly for second day in a row. Tragic it’s so high but it’s starting to show signs of moving the right way.
