Strikes me as odd that the club just don't seem bothered. Bruce is flapping and floundering but, honestly, looks like he's as in the dark as anyone. I simply don't believe the 2 or 3 calls a day with Charnley, it doesn't make sense.
I read on here that anyone affiliated to a club cannot make disparaging comments about the club in any way, else it's a breach of conduct and gross misconduct (sacked without payoff). Seems about right.
Strange, watching how we play I can fully believe that Bruce is talking to Penfold two or three times a day.
So why the inaction? It’s not just that the club stands to lose £150m in face value, but in uncertain times tv revenue is critical and we’re going to wipe out £100m of income as well. It doesn’t make even a tiny bit of sense. If this club goes down, we’re staying down.

Meanwhile a top club with a top manager with top owners and top players are beating Brentford.

We're saddled with Bruce who is apparently instrumental in bringing the astounding Graeme "Who?" Jones to the the club. The board have effectively backed Bruce, because he's said "I don't need players, but gizza coach please", meaning out outlay is about £200k with the promise of PL safety. It's ****ing utter and complete madness, endlessly on repeat. The club is fundamentally bad for our health.
