People can't get used the fact that we are an above average league 1 team who still think we should have championship quality players. Hopefully, once a takeover happens, they may get near something they expect.
We are definitely not performing as an above average division 3 team, average at best on a good day.

The problems run deep mate. When Peterborough can attract strikers such as Toney and Clarke-Harris and we get Wyke and Graham, its ****ing chalk and cheese. In all my years I have never seen such immobile forwards, and i saw Thomas Hauser. I'm very confident that LJ has seen the problems we have up front or we have exceptional actors in training.
But wyke is not far behind Clarke-Harris, who is rated by his fans. Whereas wyke, despite being our top scorer and better than most in the division (goals wise) is roundly detested by a fair few of ours.

amazing how quickly people on here and Twitter forgot about what was an excellent hat trick because he had a bad game midweek. He wasn’t exactly given the chances he got last weekend was he? The calls fir him to never pull on a SAFC shirt again were unbelievable! Yet it was only said about one other player that night in Scowen!

Thats not really the case is it? The fact we would like a forward who can win the ball in the air, control the ball, lay it off to a team mate, and attack the ball. And not to duck when he goes to head the ball, give stupid fouls away, and have the ability to have more mobility than a ****ing lampost. Not a lot to ask really is it? Thats not Championship quality by the way, any striker who plays for us, even in league one should be able to do that, it just shows how ****ing piss poor our buys have been when we have more than one of the useless ****ers here at the same time! Curry must only have one leg if he cant get a start in front of the Donkeys we pay for at the moment
Proving my point perfectly! So the fact that he has only 3 ahead of him in the scoring charts this season means nothing? He certainly didn’t look like a lamppost last weekend. Good movement to be right place for the first and second (which was a fantastic finish). And good run onto the pass and finish fir his hat trick!

Curry may be quicker (mist are) and more mobile (and I’d like to see him given a chance), but Wyke certainly doesn’t deserve the stick he gets

Agree with nearly all of this Marcus, especially when you hear the number of fans saying that our midfield is too defensive and doesn't create enough chances.

**** me, imagine how good charlie could be if our corners beat the first man and our midfielders didn't pass sideways and backwards.

Got to agree with you here, give Charlie the service and he is as good as anyone in this division.

He'd probably score a lot more if he was the same player but smaller, because he'd get the ball played to him on the deck which is what he's actually good at.

On the other hand Johnson might be able to coach him how to use his strength better similar to what Ross did with Maja. He needs to stay on his feet and stop giving away daft fouls.

It would be a massive boost if we can get rid of these, and bring in a striker and a left back. There's a few more I would like us to get rid of, but that might have to wait until the summer.

Irrespective of salary caps, wages, whatever ...

... it gets them away from keen players like O'Brien, Winchester, etc, and stops them stinking out the AOL.

Wyke is **** on his own up front because he is dire a ms a target man. He surrenders possession too much. His first touch isn’t good enough. His movement has improved with a new manager and a partner up front. In short Parkinson didn’t make the best of him.
