For the first time, I think it could happen sooner. We went down when we gave a new manager less than 10 games. We're still around 9 games from the point of no return, and there'll be no Bruce after the Everton defeat regardless.

From those 9 games though I can honestly only see 4-6 points (Palace and West Brom) - after 27 games we'd be on 23-25 points needing to win 5/6 of our last 11 to stay up on 40 points. We are on the worst run of form in the league and only 7 points clear of relegation. Bruce should have been sacked weeks ago, honestly already feel like it is to late to remedy this as Bruce has lost the dressing room and the players confidence is shot.

There's surely the possibility of a few good loans late in January if the green lights given? Surely Ashley would go all out to bring in what's required at that point

He's an obstinate twat, he's not going to do anything.

I think it could happen in time - Ashley could sell tomorrow, it's then down to the PL to ratify that sale. But it doesn't stop the new owners acting in lieu of formal approval. (I think)

I have to say I do hold a hope that it'll just happen anytime upto and until deadline day. Kinda like what happened at city just boom then they were all over the market instantly, but I just feel the clubs position and the fact these guys are pretty wise Eil lead them to just hang fire for what 3 to 4 months rather than gamble.

Might they even think OK **** it just go for it? They might just think if we go down we've got the cash to come straight back up and the club would instantly regain its value?? They might actually you know.. They're so rich a temporary relegation wouldn't be much of a concern
