Anyone sticking up for Bruce is taking the piss

The thing is he's right points wise he's done aswel. He's just wrong about what it's like to watch and a little ignorant of what bruvec inherited and had spent

Saying that pundits claiming we expect Champions League football don't understand us. He thinks we should be top 8 challenging for Europe and not just settling for PL survival.

Neville - Newcastle should be playing entertaining football and exciting fans. There is a culture ingrained at the club that has been here for years. Down to the owner.

Who said "watch this space" in reference to the punditry tonight on Sky???? Can't remember if it was someone here, or a lad on Twitter (one of the better ones).

The formation doesn't work. It's mind-numbingly obvious. When you play 4-4-2, it's a very basic tactic designed to get it down the wings for either a byline cross, or full backs to deliver with overlaps. It's wing play. Now, we're playing Almiron on the right (he's completely left footed) and Joelinton, who isn't in any stretch a winger. So neither know the role, we then have two redundant figures who are, in this set up, the two most important.

If he had Almiron left, Murphy right THEN we're getting somewhere. I still think Krafth is crap, but at least that makes a bit more sense. However, we're ****ed in the middle - which is where Arsenal play - because we're playing Shelvey who will sit deep looking for runners we don't have, and it'll be Matty on his own against 3 gunners.

Arsenal aren't very good, Arteta is just playing "let's pretend to be Guardiola", but I think they'll just keep bypassing midfield.

Cue 3-0 Newcastle win.

that was a red card
they look for tackles going over the ball and following through
dangerous play
I think it was ok mate. He was in control and got some of the ball. Nothing in it for me. I understand it was aggressive but if that was lascelles I would expect the same.

doesn't matter if he got all of the ball
if you go in with studs showing and you hit the top of the ball then hit the player it's a red card
laws of the game mate
