Steve Bruce starts with an injury update ahead of his side's trip to the Emirates on Monday night.

"Jamal Lewis could come back in," said Bruce.

"Jamaal Lascelles too, but we've got a problem with Federico Fernandez. Allan Saint-Maximin is training today or tomorrow which is good news.

"But he's been out for around seven weeks so we'll have to monitor him."
 
Arsenal are ****ing gash at the moment, they were when they beat us in the cup. If we go at them we can have them but we won't. We'll go 5 at the back again with 5 ****ing defensive midfielders and Wilson up top on his own and try to "nick" something up the other end.

Bruce can **** off, I hope we get absolutely ****ing raped 7-0, knowing SB that'll give him the perfect ****ing excuse to drop Darlow and bring Dubgoalie back in .....he's that ****ing stupid and clueless !!

The Magpies had lost five of their previous seven games before becoming the first side to lose a league game against Sheffield United on Tuesday.

Steve Bruce says he has to "take the responsibility" after picking the "wrong team" at Bramall Lane.

"I'll analyse it again and get us to change," said Bruce.

"We've shown a certain way over the last few games and when you come away from that it's unacceptable.

"In hindsight, I picked the wrong team so I have to come in front of you and accept that and accept the performance wasn't anywhere near good enough."

Sorry but picking the "wrong team" against the basement side who hadn't won a game since ****ing June/July last year, if that's his attempt at a get out then he needs his ****ing head examined! Who the **** comes out with this kind of ****?

He did what he always does and picks his team based on his ****ing archaic tactics and coaching methods and absolutely **** all to do with the opposition and the potential that certain players have when played/deployed in their correct/natural positions.

Is he really that ****ing stupid that he can't even see what is right in front of him in terms of the problems and how to solve them....very easily and very quickly? Scratch that and don't ****ing answer it, of course he is !

Can't wait to see his line up now like, it'll probably the same but swapping Fraser for Ritchie.....i mean why the **** would he play Miggy out on the left? <doh>

Wouldn't surprise me if Darlow was dropped tomorrow under the "need to freshen up the team" ****e and if he's talking about Lewis and Lacelles I fear the worst.
 
Would love to see us win, however, god knows what freshening up the team means. Joelinton to left back, Kendricks to CF,.Wilson on the bench for not scoring in last few games. I fear a whupping and if it puts another nail in Bruce coffin, then so be it.

Watched Sheff U get mangled by Spurs and was astounded at how **** they were and remember that this was the team that ran rings around us last week.

Oh yeah but but, Bruce was annoyed and had a shake up and gave them what for, so obviously they'll be tearing out of the traps like world beaters, showing Arsenal to be the overpaid wasters they are, return of the Entertainers, shame we're out of the Cups, cos Bruce means business now!

Make no mistake we’ll have dusted ourselves down and now the gloves are off but they are a very very good team.

I'm wondering what awe inspiring Churchill esque quotes Bruce will come out with after we get thumped...

"we did our best but came up just short"
"we were far better in the second half"
"we lost, but the lads played for the shirt today"
"we can't compete with the likes of Arsenal and they quality they have"
"we dominated the first 20 minutes"
"it's been a punishing schedule"
