Is he a centre forward? He was in breach of covid rules at Rangers.I don't think Gerard has forgiven him.
He's a winger GLP.
It quite possibly is but Rangers are off loading him anyway..He'll know Docherty though so there's always a chance if he's enjoying his time here he'll give Jones a heads up?Don't need another winger. Another reason it seems like agent-talk to me.

Agree with you though..We need a decent striker.

What, and play Wilks as a centre forward instead of right wing? You can never have enough wingers. Someone made a great suggestion earlier about moving Emmanuel forward and playing Coyle at RB.

Wilks needs a kingpin to play off. He ain't a kingpin himself and you'd be wasting him putting him through the middle without a No 9.
Ball won't stick and he won't bring the wide players and no8 in like Eaves and Josh do, despite their detractors.
Wilks seems most effective coming into the box from a nominal wide position and opening up the space for his wingback to push into.
Why change what's working?
Too many folk wanna be arm-chair managers and try to fix what isn't broken. Many miss the key role our current no 9's play in opening up space for our attacking midfield 3 running on.
I'd just like to try to get 2 similarly good options for every position as we are currently fortunate to have at right-back.
That way we hopefully won't loose 3 on the spin like we did when we lost George a couple weeks back with no one to fill his boots in his role.
Eave's is out injured for at least 6 weeks so any 'promising signs' have been curtailed. The priority at the moment surely has to be a strikerI agree, only Charlton have a better scoring record than us in the league, so I honestly don't see a striker as a priority.
I'm not overly bothered how many the strikers score, as long as they are contributing to overall attacking moves. I think Eaves needs a few games to get up to speed on this, but he's shown promising signs.
The drop in form when Honeyman was missing was alarming. My big priority would be a creative attacking player and getting KLP's contract sorted so you can get him back in the team.

Ah I wasn’t aware of that, in that case yes a striker is needed.
I did think Scott could be a good option for us but it’s not clicking.
Who is the first teamer we've received a "significant bid" for to "balance the books"?
