Just marvellous that wasn’t it, some great goals and great players.
I would guess the year of the "Big Freeze" - 1963, second half of the season, City would have had 2 or even more consecutive fixures cancelled. The FA/Pools companies even set up a "Pools Panel" to determine results (W,D,L)/(H,D,A) to allow the gambling public to get their fix even when many matches were cancelled due to the weather.Really random question, but this might be the best thread for it:
When was the last time City had two games in a row postponed before 2020?
It might be easier to google but I thought it might be worth asking some of the older lot on here because I can't remember two in a row getting postponed. ONe, absolutely, but two? No idea.

Wow. That was a great away day.40 years ago today we played Spurs away in FAC4 during our relegation season to the 4th Division.
Good to see photographs of Boothferry Park in real condition before it was run down and demolished. My last visit to BP was Saturday August 21st, 1993. I was working in the USA and brought my family over for a holiday. Called at the ticket office and told them I was a long time supporter from the 1940s and they graciously gave me three tickets for the Directors Box. It was the home opener against Plymouth Argyle with Player/Managed Peter Stilton. Shilts wasn’t playing in this game as was injured but we were just above him as he performed his managerial duties. Who was playing was a young Deano who scored a goal in the 2-2 draw. You must log in or register to see media
