The Europeans hadn't shown the way then.. I mean there's always a few exceptions to what I'm saying, but in general English football managers are stuck in the last and until they **** off clubs like ours have no chance because they keep being given jobs by stupid owners..

The last real exception to the rule was Bobby. Since then it's been dinosaur after dinosaur. Even Scotland produces better managers

There's no many like obvs Ferguson, Robson are obvs ones and Rodgers seems knows how to play.. It looks like lampard and Gerrard do too, but there's this group of older British managers like Bruce that still litter the English game and they keep being allowed to ruin football clubs

Merry Christmas to you all.

Mine just took a turn for the worse. Mrs turned up at Manchester Airport to find Indonesian Immigration had changed the entry rules yesterday so her COVID test certificate was no longer valid. Had to switch her to flying Christmas Day and book another test for immediately. She also has to take another test on arrival and quarantine in an assigned hotel for 24hrs until negative result received. So now won't see her until earliest 27th. There is a rumour going around they have extended quarantine period to 5days so it could be into the New Year.

Good job we don't really celebrate Christmas but she is not going to be happy if she is quarantining on her birthday (New Years Eve)

Happy Christmas to everyone, peace to all. Its been an awful year, my wife's dad died, and also two family friends in their 50s (none to Covid). So many people have died, lost their jobs/businesses or suffered mental health problems. I've lost lots of work but feck it "this time next year we could be millionaires!" Onwards and upwards, at least we have some hope (and a decent stock of red wine/bottled lager).
