It's getting to be that time of year again when our thoughts turn to that which can be so important - can we get 3 points at Blackburn?

But seriously, I would like to be the first to wish every one of you and your families, a very Merry Christmas and best wishes to all for 2025. Here's hoping that the football club that means so much to us all, shows the country and not just the Championship how good a side we have.

Merry Christmas everyone! <cheers>

Yep. Merry Christmas everyone. I’ll be working a night shift. For those of you like me that are also working, do it in the knowledge that you are making a small sacrifice so your loved ones can enjoy the nice things that life has to offer. There will be many out there who will treat tomorrow (from my time perspective anyway) as just another day of struggle and survival.
And let’s hope that RLB and the team can bring us another three points on Boxing Day. HTL.

I'll echo the sentiments of everyone else Merry Christmas and a happy 2025 to all wherever you are in the world. It's fantastic to be part of a group of people with a common goal our football club. So from myself and Mrs W Happy Christmas. Haway the lads and keep the faith lads and lasses.

Aye merry Christmas everyone.
I was eating roast beef earlier, quaffing red wine and indulging in mince pies. I suddenly realised how we take so much for granted.
I looked in the fridge at the piles of food and the freezers and cupboards, and my mind strayed to the less fortunate and homeless.

I wasted no time at all and rushed to the nearest homeless shelter.
Once there I shared with them the pictures I took on my phone of what they could have if they went out to work.

Disclaimer for the wokey fannies.
Am joking.

I didn't take any pictures, I just told them to sort their shìt out :emoticon-0148-yes:
<laugh>

One year I would like me and Mrs D to get our arses in gear so we get food shopping sorted with all presents bought and wrapped more than two days before Christmas.

It would also help last minute time management if her indoors would forgo her seemingly deep seated need in the two days before Christmas Eve for me to clean the cooker, the kitchen cupboard doors, the inside of the windows with their frames, vacuum the house from top to bottom and clean all the skirting boards. Personally I think she does this to make going away for Christmas seem more attractive but I fear that Santa won't know where I would be and I wouldn't get any Christmas presents so I prefer staying at home.

For those more organised than we are I wish a lovely relaxing countdown to the big day, may we all have a the best Christmas possible. Nadolig Llawen Pawb!

I hope everyone in here has a lovely Christmas and Santa brings all they wish for.

Despite the disagreements and arguments over the year we all want the best for our club, we just express it in different ways and words on a screen often aren't meant or taken as they should. Guess it's a modern day thing.

This year has been a challenge for me personally with work and health being incredibly difficult and something i still struggle to balance up and often this year it had brought out a side of me I don't like, it should take Christmas to make me realise that, but it feels more like a time to reflect this year.

Maybe I need to listen to my daughter more who believes every problem can be solved with a hug. It's not a bad way to look at things

Merry Christmas everyone.

Out for some bait and afternoon pints this afternoon with the wider family. Just trying to power through with this Christmas man flu that's appeared.

Doesn't seem like 2 mins when we were all excited in here at Christmas eve, culminating the biggest takeover thread ever !

Have a good one, whatever you are all doing.
