Answering the question ‘How many Brits go skiing each year, findings show that each winter 1.5 million UK residents go on at least one ski holiday.

According to your figures that's only 6 days whereas they're talking about the entire season.

As I said, it's absolute nonsense.

Just repeating what was being debated mate. Anyway ye just can’t switch aff the hunners of flights the land & take off in the U.K. as easy as you may think, or they would’ve done it.

I support Conservatives and the majority support Labour. I defend the Conservatives and slag Labour. Labour supporters defend their party and slag the Conservatives. Both sides completely avoid the good things that the opposite party do.

The bottom line is people target me (on political threads) because I'm a Tory and that just isn't liked in the NE.I like to point out all the flaws in the party that they support and I like to counter their arguments against BJ and it doesn't go down well. I see that as good old tribalism.

If people don't like me as a poster because of my political views that is their problem, not mine.

Regardless of which side anyone is, I can't understand anyone defending a lying useless twát to be honest.

I've been labour through and through most of my life but labour are no longer the party representing the working man.
I've grown to realise they are all cùnts feathering their own nests.

As for Boris

Here's a snivelling fat silver spoon bastid that whooped and cheered when nurses pay rises were voted out before this pandemic.
Nurses that have worked through all this shìt yet GP's and dentists have not left home during the pandemic except to go fooking shopping, yet get a pay rise.

So Boris comes out and declares what a great job nurses have done and some idiots lap it up.
How nice of him, they (tories) even gave all nurses a badge in recognition of their efforts, as long as they paid £1 for it. How kind

So we all have to stay at home to protect the NHS,
The very same NHS the Tories systematically dismantled.
Pity all that surplus money now found for furlough etc wasn't put to good use earlier eh ?
Hindsight is a wonderful thing

Boris didn't win an election, Corbyn and his cronies won it for him. ;)

I didn't bother voting,
It's like getting offered different plates of shìt on the menu.

The Tories dismantled the NHS? That's the greatest lie ever sold by the Labour followers.

How Labour broke the NHS – and why Labour must fix it (newstatesman.com)

Do you have a link to Boris Johnson cheering the nurses not getting a pay rise?

the story was before this one where the EU were threatening to sue but then all nations brought a new law that bans could be implemented to stop the spread of the more virulent strain.

EU states have started suspending all incoming air travel from the UK amid mounting concern over a new strain of Covid-19.

The new variant of coronavirus apparently native to Britain is up to 70 per cent more transmissible than the original.

Germany, France and Ireland are the latest to have suspended travel, announcing the moves shortly after Austria, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium made similar decisions.

A spokesperson for the German government said on Sunday afternoon that the country was working on a regulation to restrict travel from Britain to protect the country from the new coronavirus variant. It wasn't immediately clear when or for how long the restrictions would last.

Italian foreign minister Luigi di Maio meanwhile announced on Sunday morning: “As a government we have a duty to protect Italians. For this reason […] we are about to sign the provision to suspend flights with Great Britain. Our priority is to protect Italy and our compatriots.”

In the early hours of the morning, the Dutch health ministry issued a statement stating that a virus with the variant described in the UK had been identified in the Netherlands in early December.
It said that pending further investigation, any introduction of this virus strain from the UK must be “limited as much as possible” by controlling passenger movements from the country - with a flight ban applying until at the earliest 1 January 2021.
Belgian prime minister Alexander De Croo meanwhile said he was issuing the order for 24 hours starting at midnight "out of precaution," and that he hoped to have more clarity on Tuesday.

Ireland's health minister said there would be an announcement on Sunday on potential restrictions on flight and ferry passengers travelling from Britain to Ireland, while France is said to be discussing a move.
Bulgaria has also suspended travel from Britain, Reuters reported on Sunday evening.

It comes after much of the UK was plunged into a lockdown days before Christmas on Saturday when Boris Johnson ordered a strict new lockdown for vast swathes of southeast England and London.

The UK government’s decision to abandon the original five-day relaxation of measures between 23 and 27 December came in light of a new variant of coronavirus that is up to 70 per cent more transmissible than the original.
