The guy begs for his life then later on he kills the guy that stopped them killing him slowly with a knife

I remember both scenes - I never twigged it was the same Kraut! I've only seen the film about 40 times as well (including on the pictures when it came out, which was amazing). Well **** me rigid! :emoticon-0114-dull:

I'm sure all this week be dealt with by the protocols put in place by FIFA to tackle racism within the game. I imagine they are similar to the measures put in place by the English FA and other governing bodies throughout football. It's been many months since this all started and there will be stringent rules in place by now that give everyone a clear understanding of how to review racism within our game and how to deal with allegations of racism from fans to players to officials. So stop your arguments it's all sorted.

The guys ****ed they'll sack him.. Too much pressure the guys life's over

Are you saying there are no protocols and that since players started taking the knee in protest of racism within football that nobody has actually done a single thing and that they were just hoping it would all go away eventually?

No I'm not

don't try and walk me into that corner ever again.

Goodnight mate

In fairness the protocols for what happens within grounds has been in place for a while. Not sure they have one for actual officials though lol.

If evidence comes out of him being racist, **** him, but from the small clips I've seen it seems like a complete breakdown in communication.

But like Chaos said, it will still result in the ref being sacked.

This is a symptom of this Twitter-age we live in, already millions have seen the incident without any real context either way (myself included) and a conclusion has been reached. It looks from the comments I can see that black viewers are already rallying around Ba for his comments, which are simply him speaking utter tosh in anger.

Can't wait to hear Carra and Neville chat about it "mor got 2 be dn 2bh n its jus no gud enuf in dis dy n age"

Regardless of what happened tonight it was going to happen at some point in frustration of the lack of action from the governing bodies, is take the knee forever and that's sorts it all out? Somebody was always going to be on the end of the frustration fuelled by the lack of action. It just came sooner then I expected.

Has anyone asked @Tel [HASHTAG]#wheresSancho [/HASHTAG]yet?

To take his mind off the result?

I don't really understand what football bodies, or footballers can do to physically prevent this. At the end of the day, a man was strangled to death in America, it exploded into all this.

Its the people at home, watching the games who harbour racism that need to be educated, not fourth officials.

Like, complete silence and all political opinions written down before season tickets are allocated? What can they do?

Didnt they ban Bulgaria from playing for fan racism, or put all there games indoors?

Yeah there are some rules in relation to the crowd but there's very little action from anyone in regards to making actual changes within the game.

Once you start ruining the lives of innocent people that's as bad as being racist imo
I wasn't mate, I was making a point and it wasn't directed at you in any way.

Cool mate sorry then :emoticon-0148-yes:

To me governing bodies have to come out with clear rules within the game that include a guide to what is not acceptable after long discussions with all clubs from players thought to the staff. Clearly define what is and isn't acceptable and then push those rules into the acceptable behaviour from the fans. It just seems to me that they are playing for time hoping it all goes away.

That merely mirrors the issue in society in general though. What can the sport do on its own beyond what it’s already done? Aside from challenging the lack of diversity in management, I’ve no idea tbh.

As you’ve got a decent percentage of the population giving it ‘all lives matter’ when the issue is aired. But George Floyd and Marxists though.......any excuse to avoid accepting that despite having come a long way in the last 30/40 years in terms of making racism socially unacceptable and challenging the very basics of what drives racism through education, it’s patently still alive and kicking, it’s just been better hidden.
