course Ive heard that

but I seriously also think that people don’t do politics and protest strongly against it coming into their ‘territory’

just look at the anti politics protestors on here, they are always dropping random posts vilifying the thread

but yeh Millwall fans are ****s in general we also know that

The reason it was a piss-poor argument though, is because the taking of the knee was not part of any political movement. It's simply a gesture against discrimination - in the sport and generally.

If the political movement was genuinely the reason they booed then all they had to do was read up on it and they would've known and then wouldn't have booed. Which is why it wasn't genuine at all. They came up with that as an excuse because they were shown up to be utter ****s and tried to justify it after the fact.

The irony is, taking the knee is just a gesture. I doubt it will achieve much and in a way allows the authorities to hide behind it.

how you doin Bope?

don’t see you around much

hope all is well bro

Yeah not bad, working from home, gaining too much weight because I am no longer in the workshop, which is ****ing horrible for my disability, this ****ing pandemic has sped up my physical deterioration 3 fold I think. Am smoking far too much weed because the wife is at work and the kids at school and I am bored working at home all day. Feels weird smoking a joint at 8:45 in the morning.

On the plus side, the gyms all being closed for prolonged periods and/or people being afraid to go to the gym, has seen a massive boom in people buying home fitness equipment, so my company is ****ing cleaning house and I am making a mint, we saw a 700% increase in sales.
When the new financial year started in April, we picked an annual turnover target, we hit it in July HAHAHA....I just hope I dont become too Stephen Hawking to reap the fruits of my labour!

Also football is ****ing boring with no crowds, so glad to see that slowly coming back in.
Other than that, I am pretty much the same! :)

Hows things with you? :p

Yeah not bad thanks

not enjoying the football?

Why not? You’re doing well..you remind me of my bro...he looks for reasons to be depressed aswell...he’s a City fan...could be a link
Am still following it, but its not the same with no crowds.
Chelsea at the moment look decent, but, and I hesitate to say this, Spurs should win the league.
In Kane and Son, they have two of the best attacking players in the world right now.

Demba Ba got a point which makes me question the ref tho

why didn’t he refer to the player via his team and squad number

good point bro

I actually agree and now I question the ref

I thought that but it was someone in the dugout and no number was visable

It's quite simple.. He thought the guy called him a bigger, bye had a tantrum and when it was explained to them they decided to claim it was still racist and ruin he guys life rather than just say they misunderstood.

I love the way Millwall fans tried to make excuses for the booing last weekend by claiming they were voicing their objection to the politics of it all. Utter bollox. Racists just cannot admit they're being racist... bigoted ****s.

The Millwall incident was evidence to anyone doubting the issue black people still have today that there's still a big problem that needs addressing.. I was shocked by that I honestly didn't think that would happen in this country, but last night's incident really is just a misunderstanding imo and it's actually quite frightening to think you could simply describe a person's appearance and have your life destroyed... I hope common sense prevails and I hope Racism is exposed, but only where is actually exists or it'll just punish perfectly sound people and aggravate the scum of the earth.

Maybe they have a point...I mean they don’t seem to have a problem voting for black players in their player of the year nominations with about 4 black players having won it in the last decade.

Because a vocal minority can make a big racket at a football match with 2000 fans but have less influence on a player of the year nomination. They revel in it.

Then you are just as out of touch as the media.
Kneeling is a Black Lives Matter thing, and people will support any form of anti racism message, EXCEPT Black Lives Matter, due to its violence and scumbaggery.
Thats why they had no problem with the Anti Racism message and the linking of arms, or the Kick It Out campaign which has been going on for ages. No one has ever said Boo to those things, but bring the BLM ****ness into the PL and your gonna see fireworks, people dont want it and they wont accept it.

They only had the balls to bring it in at the start of the EPL season because there were no fans in the stadium, otherwise you would have seen Mass booing at every stadium in the country. And they started to get rid of it now that fans are coming back in.
