I like Godfrey, and I think in time he could prove to be a great signing for Everton. But I'm liking the thought of us taking Everton on next week with a CB playing RB.
No chance. Theo is ineligible.Dont worry, Ralf will even that out. Vallery at LB, Bertrand at att mid, and Theo at RB

Look, I didn't see the incident as I missed the first 10 mins so I can hardly comment on it.
Was a bad tackle and could well have been red if play was live. However like Brendy said you can't send someone off for serious foul play when the ball is dead. They’ve just shown it again (and I think they’ll show it at least once more at 1/2 time) - would be interesting to get your view, Tom.
Fair enough. Pickford scythed Virgil down with a potential leg-breaker which resulted in VVD going off, but Pickford escaped any sanction simply because Van Dijk was offside. Doesn’t seem right to me.
Edit: Thanks Brendy, I see the distinction but as you say it doesn’t really seem fair. My view has always been that if you injure a player enough for them to have to go off, you should also go.
See my post above.Just watched a replay of Pickfords challenge on VVD......red card for me, and surly a foul is a foul regardless of offside.
@tomw24 do you know what the rule is?
See my post above.
Should probably be changed that. And probably will seeing as Liverpool were the ones stitched up by it.
I just heard they have a conference call at Half time with Man Utd to pull up a draft document.

James completely changes Everton. What a cross-field ball that was.
Probably signing of the season for what they paid.
