I didn't even know we had a game tonight <doh>

You didn't miss much.
Denmark diving around.
Strange team selections though I don't have an issue with experimenting to be honest.
Grealish arguably the best player in the Prem at moment warming the bench so a shame not to see him play.
And Maguire made a couple of silly challenges.
Thats about it really.

If giving a **** about someone who is clearly struggling mentally makes me a snowflake, then ****ing good. <ok> :emoticon-0173-middl

I hope you don't have to go down the rabbit hole that is depression like I have, because even ****s like you don't deserve it.
Maguire, depression ? on £100k a week ? Maguire who spent more then most people earn in a year on an afternoons bar bill in Greece ?
And he's depressed ? GTF.
Back in the day he would have been dropped for loss of form. Told to lose a couple pounds and get himself back in shape on and off the field.
I think it's an insult to those who are genuinely depressed right now, those on reduced wages, those who have lost their jobs, houses, businesses because of Covid 19.
Not a millionaire centre half who could retire today and still live the life of Riley for the rest of his life without a care in the world.

Why do people always think that having loads of money makes you immune from mental health problems? It's one of the most nonsensical statements I've ever heard.

Straight from the ignorant gob of someone with absolutely no understanding of what depression is.

You’d be best shutting the **** up & saying nowt than exposing yourself as thick.

**** off UP. You have zero ****ing idea, and if you do, it's a very short sighted and narrow one.

It's almost like there's some famous saying about money not buying happiness or something...

Funny old game. World no 1s one minute, back to also rans in three days. I guess the latter would be a more realistic assessment.

Ignorant gob of someone with no understanding at all of what depression is am I ? How do you know ?
Tell that to the ex player and personal friend of mine who you kindly donated money too, who is confined to a wheel chair suffering from Parkinson's.
Tell that to my grandson who has cerebral palsy ? You have no idea of what I have gone though in my life.
So I have plenty of understanding, thank you.
The subject was England v Denmark and a player making a couple of mistakes. That's not depression, that's a loss of form and maybe focus.
As for 'embarressing', I will leave that to those who were quick to jump on the keyboards to explain.

Maguire is terribly out of form and no denying it. He needs a rest from both club and international levels. He is a shadow of the confident young lad who leads by example. He has no doubt been affected by his issues in Greece and I am sure when he reflects on that day he will wish that it had never happened. The version of events he put forward did not seem entirely believable and his interview to put things straight I am sure raised a few sceptical eyebrows. He needs to have his appeal hearing and then accept the decision. He will be able to move on. If the lad made a mistake in getting pissed up with mates and getting in some bother well it happens to all of us and you have to deal with it. If that spirals into depression and subsequent illness then that would be truly awful and earning 200k a week will not protect you more than 15k a year. What he has is the support and finances to enable him to seek the help he needs if that is the case. I don’t care what he has done or not done the most important thing is that he does not end up on the road to destruction. No one deserves that for an isolated incident on a sunny afternoon on holiday.
