And yet you continue to advocate and promote restrictions that compound these issues. A leading professor of immunology and virology has stated, without any room for misinterpretation, that locking healthy people down is ridiculous and completely pointless. All it does is prolong the effects. Here we can agree. Our Government’s performance on “track and trace” has been abysmal. That said, if you look at the actual science behind the PCR test, it is useless, to all practical purposes. That isn’t conspiracy, it comes from the Nobel Prize winner who invented it. Perhaps you know better than him? Practically everything I have heard you say about the virus and the Government’s response to it is in line with the propaganda nonsense spouted by the MSM. It is unfortunate, because one of the videos I linked to was compiled by a very intelligent man, who drew upon the recent work of eminent medical academics. This is the problem. The exclusivity in the U.K. is 6 years iirc, compared to 8 in the States. Big Pharma argue that without the patent protection they can’t justify the investment, but it makes certain drugs eye wateringly expensive, especially if they’re for conditions that will generate a relatively small but nonetheless vital market for the product. The actual development costs are a matter of debate, especially when you factor in how much input our educational establishments add to the pot, often with little or no IP rights as their reward, as many of them are commercially clueless.
