This looks to be a certainty.

Striker Luis Suarez has left Watford and is expected to be announced as a Granada player in the coming days for a fee believed to be in the region of €15million.

A bit risky if what Luther said on the Rumours page is true. I read elsewhere that the fee will be paid in stages over a number of years - if the club owner withdraws his support tomorrow as indicated, it may never be paid.

Pozzo's still own a major, but not controlling stake, in Granada. 48% I think I read, the Chinese investor owns the controlling share.

Given the relationship with Granada, I wonder if we would have an option to buy him back should we get promoted?

We are delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian international defender William Troost-Ekong on a permanent transfer. Sought-after teenage striker Djibril Touré also joins on a five-and-a-half-year contract.

WTE sounds good and experienced whilst one of these young strikers we seem to get must come good at least.

WTE is a bit of a dish apparently: the girls are all "can't wait to see him in the flesh" all over Facebook and even Mrs Fez gave out an all too audible "ooohhh" that was once the preserve of Saracens and French rugby international Thomas Castagnede.
Let's hope he's as easy on our collective palpitations when he plays as he is on the eye for the ladies.

Well now that she's retired, she's able. And she's a dab hand too! Her fruitcake is the stuff of legend in my section of the UGT. Tonight's dinner was paneer and dahl pie, absolutely scrumptious! She'd much rather be on the golf course, mind! <laugh>
