He has got too big for his own ego IMO.... and yes he needs to prove his value...... I know he is just trying to cash in on a season or two big money.... but.......
From the article about Perica - https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/18703575.watford-sign-stipe-perica-udinese/ it also states we have signed "The 25-year-old's arrival is the fourth signing of pre-season, following the arrivals of Jeremy Ngakia, Francisco Sierralta and Glenn Murray" Has this been confirmed by the club? I couldn't find anything. Apparently he is a 6ft 4 CB. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francisco_Sierralta
Actually, I found him - https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/men/players/francisco-sierralta But a bit strange as I can't find any other confirmation.....
And that doesn't give any information on him at all... There never was confirmation of him signing - I think it was picked up on Twitter when Giraldi (I think) mentioned to the Italian press that he was 'coming to Watford'. His wikipedia page says he joined on a season long loan on 26th August.
Doucoure is confirmed to be OUT to Everton. Not a great loss in my view, as long as we’ve got decent money for him. I know he’s been a strong performer for us in the past, but rarely performed for us at that level last season.
Glen Murray gave a very good interview on the Watford website Said all the right things about joining us and said all the right things about his previous clubs Seems like an old fashioned gentleman and player

Toby Stevenson has signed a one-year deal with the Hornets, with the option of a further year. The 20-year-old left-back came through the academy at Leyton Orient before spending time with Charlton Athletic. On his Charlton debut in October 2018, Stevenson netted a hat-trick in an 8-0 Checkatrade Trophy win against Stevenage. He joins Watford's academy after his Charlton contract expired earlier this summer.
Watford have confirmed the departure of defender Pervis Estupiñán. The left-back has joined Spanish side Villarreal for a fee in the region of £15m and has signed a SEVEN year contract. The Ecuador international, 22, joined Watford in 2016 but never made a competitive first-team appearance for the Hornets. While on the Hertfordshire club's books, he had loan spells in Spain with Granada, Almeria, Mallorca and Osasuna, where he was last year.
Whilst that is a shame, Stevenson certainly looked the part (highlights only I admit) last night. Could be the signing of the window!
