Just looked at the rivalries widget on the HDM site.

According to their survey, our fans dislike (in order):

Scunthorpe
Grimsby
Massive
Leeds
Sheff United

Teams that don’t like us (in order from most hated to least)

Rotherham
Huddersfield
Massive
Sheff United
Millwall

I’d have thought Lincoln would be on there, they really don’t like us. Neither do Boston or York, but they’re in a pish league so **** them.

Me too. If you're sports fans, why not support 2 home town teams ? Perhaps the RL City supporters may split between FC & Rovers ?

Ever read the FC forums? Or been in a pub where rugby fans were cheering when it is announced City have scored a goal? Anyone at the City v Brentford game in 1980 knows what a lot of them think about City. See loads of cars with FC! or Roverd, stickers alongside Liverpool, Mam Utd or Leeds ones. Never seen a car with a City sticker alongside a Wigan or St Helens one.
The mod 9n the FC forum even had a tagine of Hull FC and Leeds United - Pride Of Yorkshire. Though that disappeared during their descent to Division 3. No doubt it will make a re-apearance.

Well it’s subjective I suppose, there isn’t a set criteria for defining a rival as everybody has their own reasons for disliking a team.

I voted Grimsby because I nearly lost an eye last time I went to a game there, their fans are a set of ****s.

In terms of other teams, I have to say I dislike Derby over teams like Leeds, only because I hate their “we belong in a higher division because we just do” attitude. That’s not to say I don’t hate Leeds too, but it’s shades of hatred.

Barnsley can **** off as well, actually.

The only question is in which order, down to personal experiences mainly, you detest TWS,the Blunts and the Fowls. Followed by the Borer.

How about how many FC fans 'support' a Premier League football club despite hating the game and calling it Wendy Ball or soccer when Hull City are involved ?

I'm indifferent about many other clubs ((that'll show them) as opposed to neutral) and rugby league, but would prefer the 2 Hull clubs to win over others, and have come across RL locals who support Liverpool et al, trying to get their rationale for their 'support' & contradictions for supporting a local RL club is always lost on them, this probably leading to the generalised dislike of rugby lard fans...

Ps dislike of the white ****e is just a natural state of being for any normal fan...
