The statement says the club turned down an agreement with the BBC, does that mean the BBC as a whole or just our local lot? If it's just the local lot then surely they could just piggyback of all the away teams at the KC and broadcast that way?

    More ****s tricks from ehab!

    Apparently not

HULL CITY ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE WILL SHORTLY BE JOINING THE EFL DIGITAL COLLECTIVE, A MOVE WHICH WILL SEE THE CLUB BENEFIT FROM A BRAND NEW WEBSITE AND VIDEO STREAMING PLATFORM.
The switchover is due to take place next week, although fans shouldn’t notice too much disruption as we migrate to our new online home. Our Carabao Cup tie at Sunderland on Saturday and next Tuesday’s EFL Trophy clash with Leicester City U21s will be streamed live on the existing Tigers TV in the UK ahead of the switchover (please note that there will be no audio-only option for the above two fixtures).

Then, ahead of our opening Sky Bet League One fixture against Gillingham, on Saturday 12th September, our video content and live match streaming (video and audio) will move over to the EFL’s iFollow platform where subscribers will be able to follow the Tigers throughout the season with the live action including exclusive match commentary featuring former players. There’ll also be all of the regular highlights packages, match reaction and interviews to enjoy in one place*.

We’ll be getting in touch with existing Tigers TV customers with details of how to switch over to iFollow Tigers, the new long-term home for our online video content, next week.

Our new website will continue to bring you all of the latest Hull City news, match previews, reports and reaction as the new season gets underway.

In the meantime, enjoy the games against Sunderland and Leicester and we look forward to seeing you over on iFollow Tigers soon! Fans wishing to purchase a live stream of Saturday’s Carabao Cup tie at the Stadium of Light can do so here.

*Please note that, due to the different set-up that exists within League One, streams will be a one-camera production

Mmm... strange this news breaks out the day before the season starts. Is this Ehab's great idea to get more people to pay £10 to watch his stream instead of listening to Burnsy's commentary? Or is this Ehab trying to remove for more scrutiny from the club, as he has banned HDM and no media seem to access to the players?

All clubs have media deals in place for local radio commentary, Leeds, Sheffield Utd and Wednesday have their commentarys on local radio. This is part of the Ehab plan.

I'm confused - nothing in that press release mentions BBC Humberside. Surely the local radio commentary was always separate from the streaming deals, whether it was BBC or Viking?
