I agree, although he is certainly no World beater, we have to remember that we are playing in the third tier of English football and as bad as he might be in a higher division, he'd be a class act in League One, I'd rather that he was our player than playing for another club in our league.
Just like most said Leadbitter would be class. Only here for final pay day and to fleece our club. We should be looking for younger players that may improve and maybe have a sell on price

I've absolutely no idea if Graham would score goals here but he's managed elsewhere.
When he was signed, by MON, he'd been Swansea's top scorer and previously scored 20+ in a season for Watford iirc.
O'Neil played a dreadful style of football that didn't suit Graham, the player didn't help though tbh.

he’s not scared to get stuck in and I don’t think he’s the type to hide in a match, he always give 100 percent when he was here last time so I’m ok with this signing.
He literally hasn’t had one good game since he came back. He has been absolutely dreadful. Our worst central midfielder by a mile. I appreciate he has had personal problems

I'm quite happy to have Danny Graham back at Sunderland. Sometimes it pays to have an experienced player in the team, who knows the drill, and can help the team to just do the job at hand, ( in this case, get us promoted or at the very least, in the playoffs) I don't suppose he's under any illusions, he knows what needs to be done.
Can do a job for us definitely. Forget his age, if he's fit he'd be an asset.

I agree with your comment, and have expressed this on here a few times, but in this case I believe he will lead the line well, put himself about, link the play and let's face it, he's better than what we've got. He may not have had the required talent when he played for us in a higher division, but no one could ever accuse him of not giving 100%.
I don't believe for a second he's the best use of wages for the position but it doesn't hurt to have a veteran striker on board.
Hopefully in the future we'll have a proper setup behind the scenes and won't have to gamble on signing past it players to do one last job before retirement.
