If the government had any foresight they could introduce a system where crowds are allowed in low transmission areas, and would massively help out clubs and the supply chain.

We are a prime example, in the North East the rates are so low it’s crazy that we have same restrictions as places in Lancashire where it’s really high.

The fallout from multiple sports clubs folding would be huge.

Boris the Liar, with foresight, the two are incompatible

I think being a liar is the least of his problems. Absolute train wreck of a ‘leader’

The hashtag [HASHTAG]#letfansin[/HASHTAG] has been trending on Twitter the last couple of days in reference to non-league clubs. We could lose a swathe of clubs from League 1 all the way down. Fortunately, I think clubs at Steps 3 and 4 will cancel the season if they need to as they can't afford to play behind closed doors. They're in a position to be able to as there are only a handful of professionals at that level. Its definitely Leagues 1 and 2 and the National League where clubs are in most danger.

The only solution I can see is free to view tv, then the lower leagues can demand higher sponsorships

At the start of the pandemic mistakes were made without doubt because nobody knew what we were dealing with . Boris made mistakes but he was acting under advice and I am sure that whoever was leading the country similar mistakes would undoubtedly have been made . I know one thing - when the pandemic broke I was pleased that it was Boris in charge rather than Jeremy Corbyn and his party .

The PM, and people who support him, believe he's a character but he just impersonates characters imo.

His 'Princess Di' was a star turn, 'look at me shaking hands with infected people'.

Then his fist pumping 'fight them on the beaches' Churchill was accurate if a little obvious.

But I thought he got his 'Margaret Thatcher' all wrong when he said he wasn't for turning on the testing, then immediately turned ...

... to be fair he wasn't far off with the hair <laugh>

Once we get through all this there’ll be a public enquiry, they’ll own up to mistakes and Boris be hung out to dry.

Nailed on.

I think the main top tories wanted Boris for Brexit then throw him out. Covid -19 has ensured that methinks.
