I’m gonna hate seeing great annual savings on it regardless

I’ve got few pals work for them so I don’t mind. I never buy the shirts anyway.

I’ll have a couple bits of the training gear like, we have the ‘strike’ joggers and such, best training gear they do. Not for those carrying a few extra pounds like cos they are snug. Ha.

This is a good watch to understand what sort of player he is. This is in the Europa against Wolfsburg. He looks very comfortable on the ball, he’s good at getting it down and playing short crisp passes. His weakness looks like his long ball passing. His pace and positioning seem fine, he takes a cracking corner. We’ll definitely be a threat from set pieces with him in the team.

He will excel in a team that get it down and play football. He won’t suit hoof ball, at all.

Hang on there marra

I’m wrong on this my bad. I’m not sure who I was thinking of, frankly ha.

So we need a RWB then also.

So Onions still at RWB for now, Hume /Garbutt LWB
Wright, Willis, Flanagan back three (McGlauchlin as back-up, but has been poor)
Power, Scowen, Gooch, Dobson, Embleton in the middle... maybe Diamond too
Maguire, Obrien, Wyke & Grigg up top

So 5 new faces needed for a robust squad:
Striker
Ataacking mid
Right wing-back/right back
centre-half &
goalkeeper

Not convinved this lads on his way here anymore. He's had a contract offer on the table for a week and not signed yet so doesn't seem keen to be here. I'm guessing that's why we had that Mitchell on trail as another option in case Garbutt doesn't come.

In many respects I'd rather we signed Mitchell; young, fast highly regarded and has the potential to develop.

Inclined to agree. He either isn’t too keen, or more likely we were never in for him in the first place.

He could have been on holiday of course and been forced into self isolation in this mad world.

Who else has weve signed on a three year deal since we were in L1? Seems very rare that we do that.

Only one I can think of is Wyke.
