Think this is what you want help with mate.....

    Clear
    your history

    1. On your computer, open Chrome.
    2. At the top right, click More .
    3. Click History. History.
    4. On the left, click Clear browsing data. ...
    5. From the drop-down menu, select how much history you want to delete. ...
    6. Check the boxes for the info you want Chrome to clear, including “browsing history." ...
    7. Click Clear data.

Reset password? Does it give you the option of sending it to a reliable email address?

    Hmmmm

Have you tried booting the laptop up in safe mode? I'm sure you can still access pictures and such in safe mode.

Theres a load of youtube walkthrough tutorials on how you can do it depending on your operating system...windows 7/8/10....only thing is you may be able to get into the computer but not your old account, never had to do it so I may be wrong..good luck

Usually hold f10 as you’re loading it, but I’m not sure that will bypass your password.

You can factory reset the thing without a password but that would wipe any pics. Email addresses never close so you can always try and password reset that.

Been a while since i did it and never with laptops but you can link the computer up to another with a cable and access the information from it's hard drive through the second computer (either as just an accessed external hard drive or through setting them up as a slave and master computer). To give context, when i did this i had to take the case off the computers and move some settings pins in the back. In fairness, you may have to actually log into the computer to do either of those things, not sure, it's been 15 years+

Good luck and let us know how you get on, there are solutions though.
