Mercy Seat great song, acoustic version is so haunting, especially the version he played on Letterman Seen them about 5 times. Best was in 1999, I took my then g/f to see Cave and Ellis perform in Liverpool, and he did his really dark version of West Country Girl. My g/f had to leave because she said that Warren Ellis was scaring her how he played the violin. I met her about an hour later as I wasn't leaving until Nick had finished. Live version so different to the original record
