1:45 Goodwood - Tinandali 7/1. Unlucky in running last time was caught back and the gap didn't appear in time. Ran on when it did to finish 5th. With a clear passage i'd expect it to make amends here.

Over at Galway. In the last King Pellinor is a great price at 14/1. Would definitely expect it to be there fighting out the finish. Has won on the flat and is coming into this off the back of two very good runs over hurdles.

Two win singles and double

Looks like an easy day for most of the those at the top of the market at Goodwood.

1.10 WASAAYEF
2.15 DEVIUOS COMPANY
2.45 SPACE BLUES
4.20 ALKUMAIT

In the 3.30 quite fancy ACCLAIM THE NATION from stall 1.

Am with you on both of them unfortunately although the Buick/gosden runner could be anything

Can Stradivarius give all that weight to Santiago?

That’s certainly a lot of weight to give a Derby winner. I’m slightly tempted by Santiago at the prices, but I think I’ll sit this one out and hope for another masterclass from the master violinist.

In the previous race, I’m wondering whether to give Pierre Lapin another chance at an e/w price.

superb day ahead at Goodwood - my 2 favourites horses of recent years (Stradivarius and Caspian Prince) both running.
I am also keen on FIFTH POSITION in the 1.45 and BATTLEGROUND in the 2.15.

2.45 Goodwood I have a slight feeling that Beat la Bon may just run well. He has a good record on this track (2 wins out of 3 runs and won the golden mile) pulled hard LTO and basically lost any chance early on. 25/1 represent good value. Good luck to all today.

Why would you name your horse Fifth Position, tempting fate everytime he runs, surely! Unlike my own horse, Stone Cold Last <laugh>

Wish I had read Sticks post before I put this up!

Happy Goodwood, horsey peeps :)

My ones to avoid are:

145 Red October ew

215 Devious Company

245 Marie’s Diamond, Pierre Lapin ew

315 Stradivarius no bet - I'm confident that Le Strad will gallop them into the ground.

345 Recon Mission

Good luck all <ok>
