George Long 2020-2021 plus 1 year option by club
Matt Ingram 2021-2022 plus 1 year option by club

Ryan Tafazolli 2020-2021 plus 1 year option by club
Jordy de Wijs 2020-2021 plus 1 year option by club
Reece Burke 2020-2021 plus 1 year option by club
Angus MacDonald offered new deal

MF
David Milinkovic 2020-2021 plus 1 year option by club
Daniel Batty 2020-2021
George Honeyman 2021-2022 plus 1 year option by club
Leo Lopes 2021-2022 plus 1 year option by club
Martin Samuelson 2021-2022 plus 1 year option by club
FW
Tom Eaves 2021-2022 plus 1 year option by club
Josh Magennis 2020-2021 plus 1 year option by club
Keane Lewis-Potter 2021-2022
Mallik Wilks 2021-2022 plus 1 year option by club
James Scott 2022-2023 plus 1 year option by club

I’d start by moving on Long, Ingram, JDW, Burke. Anyone else that’s injured a lot - Samuelson. We need robust players. Neither keeper has impressed me. New keeper as there has to be a better alternative on the free transfer list.

It wasn't that long ago that JDW and Burke looked decent, and seemed to be growing month by month. Then something happened.
If they can get back to it, they should be more than good enough for L1.

Another large overhaul next summer then.

I wouldn’t look to move on anyone. The money would likely be spent on consultancy fees. The budget to replace anyone would be absolutely minimalist.

The Athletic - I think it was - claimed we had been approaching agents saying we would not be paying more than £4K a week. When we were expected to be in division 1. Now we’ve been relegated that wage has probably been halved to £2k a week.

Slight edit needed.

Nowadays "Division 1" is called the Premier League, so I'd settle for that.
Are you saying that "The Athletic - I think it was - claimed we had been approaching agents saying we would not be paying more than £4K a week. When we were expected to be in division 1." and the Athletic were saying that we had been approaching agents and saying we would not be paying more than £4k a week when we were expected to be in the Premier League?

No. I'm old, to me Division 1 is the top flight not the third tier.
