He works at @7league. He’s an ex employee of Bein.

Anyways that’s not my point. And I can’t be arsed to argue. I’m just saying what he says is more or less right. There’s a lot of **** to sort out. That’s what I am saying.

But we already knew there was a lot to sort out.

However, none of that **** is part of the test.

Actual sports lawyers have said based on the test they can't fail it

I agree but it’s now seriously affecting the club. And it really is and that really isn’t fair. It’s putting us at a serious disadvantage to the rest of the clubs.

All opinions aside because we all fall on different sides of the fence So honestly this is not about it being on or off any more.

There really is jobs on the line, contracts, all staff, potential new deals etc.

Bruce says it’s business as usual but come on seriously MA is not going to sanction any deals of value while this is all up in the air.

Players won’t want to come because of the uncertainty.

A different view on this. Saudi are by all accounts the largest and most likely country to provide revenue to Bein through subscriptions. In fact you could argue that they depend on it.

To do so they need to broadcast in Saudi.

This means that in actual fact Bein needed the takeover to go through so that Saudi fix the piracy (done) and be allowed to legally broadcast.

So Bein are effectively shooting themselves in the foot are they not?

Just to put it out there again

There was some human rights thing to the PL imploring them to stop the takeover, there was also allegations from a journalist that as many as 100 MP's are lobbying against it also. There's bad press every day, I just can't be arsed with it, it's pathetic, tiresome and frustrating. It'll either happen by Tuesday, or it;s off (in its current form).

1st August deadline though in think announcement Sunday/monday. Sorry chaos

That your personal deadline?

Read something in the M*rr*r, used the very subjective term "stalled indefinitely" - lovely clickbait as it sounds so grim, but it's actually just good English. It has stalled, without a timescale. I love the media.
Not really a deadline as such as I think it will happen but now to do with after 1st August every day later means a step closer to another dreadful season.

Think once end of season is done we'll know.

I did read yesterday that the PIF answered more questions last week but not on piracy.

I wonder if the cutting off BeIn will be the Saudis way of saying " complete the takeover and we restore the service, fail it and BeIn lose their biggest customer"
