I think that Eddie Howe would be the perfect Spuds Manager, he has worked miracles for years and is a much better player coach than Maureen for example and is used to working with a budget.
His teams play an attractive brand of football too.

Can't coach a defence mind. No chance if him getting one of the bigger jobs.

Cant see Howe getting a big job any time soon. Mid table club at best after this season.

If Villa could turn this into four, that would take a massive chunk out of Watford's GD advantage.

Can't judge him on this season alone, Bournemouth were always treading water in the PL and you will soon see them slide after he leaves them.

I'm not. The least amount of goals they've conceded in their five years is 55. That's awful.

Worth pointing out that although it's a small club they've spent a fair whack too. Considerably more than us net I'd say.

Just getting them to the PL and staying for 5 years makes him a very good Manager in my book and he's done it with good attractive football too.

I'm not saying he's a bad manager, just that he won't attract any of the bigger clubs because he can't coach a team to defend.

Would be a bit harsh though as he hasn't actually signed any defenders of his own yet.

And we're still on course to concede less than them despite the nine nil!

Danso?...it has been curious that he has had three windows and not brought in any permanent defenders when our defence has been so porous.
We have also let a few go in that time.

That was a huge panic buy to placate the fanbase imo. And I'd say it's because we needed to get rid of one first most likely.

Be surprised if we didn't see one this window coming.
