The players realised that not getting the job done against a Birmingham side already relaxing by the indoor pools was a poor result.
I also don't expect that they have given up hope because the same Birmingham side unsurprisingly lost tonight.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Maybe - the stats show total shots Brum 10 - 12 'Udders
........................................on target Brum 2 - 6 'Udders
3 decent headed opportunities, missed the target with each, you'd have expected them to score 1 at least (the one at 1-0) and prob one of the others too.

There'll always be twists, turns and coupon busters at this stage of the season. This will go on for weeks then the picture will finally materialise. All we can do is take one game at a time, starting with tomorrow night, which has now become an absolute must win!!
From about 5 games into the non win in 13 games run, each games has been a must win game.. initially just to get a win, then to stop the rot, then to stop the rot, then to stop the rot and then to stop us getting relegated. I've said it before and I hate to say it and its. not a question of not getting behind the team, we're gone and I cannot see anything other than a duffing tomorrow. I can imagine Wanrocks team talk... 'if you cant beat this shower, you deserve to be relegated'...

A sound beating tommorrow is curtains .
Perfect opportunity at 2 up on Saturday to get the monkey off the back and build some confidence.

If your going to update it, is it worth adding in Wigan now they look like losing 12 points?
Wigan are currently on 50 points after 40 games (14th place). Technically on 38 points. They will be re-inserted after 46 games when we know how many points they actually will finish with given that if they "naturally" finish in the bottom 3, the 12 point deduction would apply next season in L1.

Th OP has been edited to include this note.

Standings IF Wigan are deducted 12 points
Quick fix in paint, so I don't wanna hear no complaints <3

Well done Febbos - wanna show the "corrected" table after every set of fixtures ? That'd save me some time :emoticon-0105-wink:
I'd ask baboon but he's currently busy writing the complete works of Shakespeare on his typewriter ! :emoticon-0100-smile

Sure, for the right amount :emoticon-0176-smoke
How about free membership of next season's Prediction League and the honour of managing the thread ? Duffen's & myself would then know we'd passed over custody of the ever popular feature to a highly capable and reliable management executive !

Dripping with bullshit this post will it succeed I wonder

So, what do we want for Stoke v Barnsley on Sunday? A draw or a Barnsley win keeps us out of the bottom 3 regardless of other results, a Stoke win would be bad news. Assuming we get nothing at WBA that is...

The desire should be to keep as many clubs as possible below us to keep us away from the drop zone.
Ergo a draw is optimal.

Unless remaining bottom 8 team match-ups include ourselves (a win for us is obviously better against Wigan & Luton) , ideally we want those matches to end in results that keep 'em below us - most likely draws given the tightness of the bottom 8 points-wise.
