If FPP came out and said that they couldn’t agree due to a price or Donald moved the goalposts, the movement would pick up pace drastically.
Crikey, they only need to tip off a journalist or fanzine etc for people to boot off further with the jokers destroying the club

I think a comment, statement or anything from the Americans has got to be a first focus on an agenda for RAWA to push for. Any engagement at all to get something from them would be the first step to get clarity on their situation, as this would be confirmation for us to 100% know that they are willing to take the club on on (for me a 10 mill injection of money into a 3rd division club deffo says that no matter what anybody says).

I would also add that a statement from Juan Sartori himself should be pushed for, SD and CM has always talked for him but he has never talked for himself, well I for one want to hear what he has to say about his involvement etc.

Yeah I agree. With Donald in this position, clarity from FPP would be desirable and stop him from using the carrot of FPP as a way to disguise or excuse his own poor ownership.

It doesn't have to be specific about Donald, but it's not unreasonable to suggest that our potential future owners would be able to make a statement of fact about their interest in the club.

Arghhh stop it man
Just when I'm getting used to being a miserable pessimistic old git, along you come with your positive talk.
Well I'm not having it. We're doomed I tell you, doomed
I read it on RTG so it must be true

It sounds like the wheels are starting to turn for heads to come together to decide what action to take. I take my hat off to @Guinness Guzzler @Confucius @wearside wanderer II for being pro-active and getting RAWA to push something out there. Talking on here is one thing but putting any ideas into action is another, so well done boys. Its something that I personally would get involved in, but I work all over the country and europe so could never devote my full attention to what is needed. As for what has been mooted over the last 10 months or so from @Smug in Boots about FPP's ideas and vision, which has really been informally confirmed by others, if Stewart Donald has stopped this vision becoming reality, its something that he must pay for and be ousted, whichever way possible. We have all got to come together and support any protest as a united fanbase because that is the only way that it will work, I dont think ive seen the support so fractured and disjointed as I have seen over the last 12 months. I dont know how many times I have changed my mind about the people in charge, but I think that we are all under the agreement now that we have had enough and we cant believe 1 word that comes out their mouths. Again lads, well done. I will be looking forward to how ongoing talks go with the RAWA
My part in bold is the crux of it as well. Take away the fact we desperately want a football club to cheer and be proud of, I would also LOVE to have a city that is showing signs of being on the up and not an after thought to Newcastle, who's lets face it, city centre is light years ahead of ours and Sunderland city centre is a ****hole. The amount of people who look at our town centre and surrounding areas and say it's a dump is staggering. I used to live in Swindon when based down that way in the RAF and even that town centre is a million miles away from ours! IF SD has also put something resembling improvement of some areas in Sunderland to a stop as well then it's not just SAFC fans he's affecting now, it's the entire area and city!

I think as well as his abysmal record of running the football club in the last 18 months - 2 years, if a regeneration vision has been planned for the sheepfolds which would create countless jobs and money for the local economy, the man has not got the football club and support in his best interests at all. He is desperate to hold on and have his name attached to the club by whichever means possible, especially listening to his last interview on total sport.

People like @Guinness Guzzler, and others, are finally being able to make their voices heard above the rabble on RTG etc, who've shouted people down for so long, and very slowly, much of what I was saying all those months ago is coming out. Everything from the FPP plans for engaging the City of Sunderland to the advice given by an ex-England manager.

If I hadn't been so relentlessly attacked I, and other people, would've been happy to have posted much more about how things started to unravel. I had a recent pm from a person who's sent me first hand info from inside the club. They are a regular well respected posted on RTG who's partner works in the club.

After seeing what happened with me, they won't post any information. Without breaking a confidence the general concensus is that, far from coasting along financially as has been suggested, Donald is floundering.

My wishes have always been that FPP get to take over, and put all of their plans in place, for all of the thousands of decent supporters.

Now, I have to be honest, part of me is hoping that it comes off as a f**k you to all the tossers who were desperate for me to be wrong, even to the detriment of the club.

I wish that I could rise above it, but these people don't realise the harm that they do ...

... hopefully the good guys, like GG, will be left to help SAFC out of this mess.

Remember the old adage - He who laughs last, laughs loudest. You are better than that rabble, so be content with that.

does anyone believe that Donald will actually lower his asking price, because no way will anyone pay his asking price for us in league one. we are stuck with him sadly :headbang::headbang::headbang:

Given the approach (another PR disaster) for the refunds of this season’s tickets which has come out today, it looks like to me they may have cash flow problems? Which is why they wanted to screw season ticket holders for next season by giving you a TV pass for a 3rd of the value of the season ticket (with multiple ticket families getting screwed multiple times!). Anybody else think the same?

Have we had a single Uruguayan kid through our Academy, as was promised?

From the outside looking in, it certainly looks that way. Season ticket holders getting refunds last instead of first, youth team players being sold cheaply instead of investing in them and getting them ready to step up to the first team. Even with hindsight having supporters install the new seats would've saved money.

You know, the installing of the seats has been playing on my mind today thinking that should have been a red flag warning from the start. I know it was embraced by a lot of us but I think we were just blinded by (what we know now) his utter bullshit and lies.

It reminds me of giving the American Indians a bottle of whisky and a mirror for Arizona tbh.

I never thought the seat replacements was anything other than a sign that Donald didn't have any cash dressed up as a PR move, I thought he'd just be a figurehead to bring in other investors like Sartori. Worked out great.

It looks like the seats was the only PR exercise that Methven actually got right!

Seems like ages since us as fans laughed in general.

There comes a time when defiance and pride overcomes everything, and we laugh in the face of it ....

.... we started doing a conga at Watford when it was 5-0 and carried on well after it was 8-0.

We outsung the home support on one of their biggest days ffs.

F**k it, we are Sunderland!
