On the one hand I've heard absolutely no rumblings at all from RAWA, but of course there's always a chance that there's plenty going on that they have no idea about (often they hear from potential buyers because they contact them to discuss the club with the fans group, but no doubt plenty of groups wouldn't bother). On the positive side the season card thing has been so incredibly poor for a business that needs cash flow that it has almost felt as if they aren't bothered, similar to when they didn't promote the play off semi final because they thought the club was being sold so it wasn't their problem anymore. Can't say I'm optimistic but you never know

Gordon Armstrong (not the mod :D ) is a bit weird isn't he?

Agree it'll be something about the new season, but hopefully it's not. Maybe pid has been working to get us sold behind the scenes <badger>

Ive just checked Alan Nixon on twitter and he says players and staff have been told of an anouncement by text yesaterday...

Somebody did mention it on RTG but ive just looked and he has

I've had 3 messages with conflicting reports, none involving FPP ...

... but I'm not on their speed dial so that means nowt.

I've asked someone who's 'in their loop' but he's not responded. He's been very very quiet recently which, as the eternal optimist, I've taken as a good sign.

That Alan Nixon recons it could be about the academy, either closing or losing catagory status.

He doesn't seem to think its anything to do with a takeover, so that can only mean bad news. But then, would he know if a takeover was going through?
