I'm on the fence. I'll watch our game if I can on Friday (6pm is a crap time as I working loosely US hours at the moment and that is 1pm...the middle of my day), but I really have no passion for it. The last few months have made me realise there are more important things in the world and although it is a change to normality, I am not sure how much it fits in to my new normal.

I'm sure I will change though.

I said the same No7 that I wouldn’t watch ......but I know I will, especially as I am still on furloughed for a couple of weeks yet.
Ps
How is redundancy life treating you? New job going well?

Yep all good. New job demanding though...I actually do a full day <laugh>

Working from about 12pm to 9-10pm though atm as so much to do, but it will soon slow down. I was going to finish at 5 today (12pm US time), but then a meeting got sprung on me for 8pm our time. Video call, but my camera was 'not working' :)

Hope your not working next Friday 18:00 .....or will your WiFi mysteriously stop working for work <laugh>

The hypocrisy around telling players they can't celebrate goals together but can spend 90 minutes tackling and grappling each other at corners is astounding.

Absolute bunch of ****s.

Agree with the hypocrisy

I’m more disinterested in it because it’s a different sport now and the integrity of the season has gone. We’ve a quarter of the season to play and it won’t be played in the same circumstances as the first three quarters. I believe that makes it lose its integrity. One relegation team could have lost say to a relegation rival in November in front of 30,000 home fans and in the return game, they’ll lose the advantage of home support.

I just have found the whole thing odd and a little distasteful. I may watch our first games but won’t bother with any other teams games.

I‘ll be out on my bike if anyone needs me.

I agree. I’d have been happy if they’d just canned the season, as, now, anything could happen - particularly for teams with small squads. The “big boys” will be ok of course .....
So, I probably won’t watch ...... and I’ll be super upset if results go against us ....

Yeah and aside from all that it just feels like a classic example of the rich being allowed to live by different rules to the rest. Working class game? My ****ing arse.

I had no interest from a sporting perspective anyway, partly due to the reasons you spell out. But the point in which my mind was firmly made up was when it was agreed that they could return to contact training in the same week that my Mum wasn't allowed to attend her Aunt's funeral.

**** 'em. Hope it has to be stopped for some reason and loads of clubs go bust. Couldn't even give a monkeys if we were one of them.

Sorry to hear about your mum’s Aunt, Libby :(

Thanks mate. I hadn't seen her since a young kid as not local so barely knew her, but my mum and nan were devastated about the limitations (my Nan even offered to pay for private testing to no avail).

She was in her 90's and was given 6 months to live almost a year before so she had a good crack at life.

I hear Fraser has refused to extend his contract so won’t be playing in Bournemouth’s games, anyone else done the same? I can’t imagine many important players will be out of contract, doesn’t happen too often in the PL

The majority of players in that situation seem to be agreeing a short term extension to August. Not sure who the players we have that are out of contract.
