I'm not talking crimewatch or face in the crowd. Only asking as I should be getting my 5 minutes of fame tomorrow morning on bbc breakfast. We were interviewed about providing care during lockdown. Hoping they dont make us look like a bunch of gimps.

My brother didn't know I'd gone to Old Trafford. He was watching the match with his son and teaching him the names of players by saying "that's.....and that's......" then a crowd shot came on and he said "oh and that's your Auntie Becky" :emoticon-0104-surpr:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Yes and I have been on Crimewatch doing a re-enactment although it was a blink and you’ll miss me kind of thing. I was driving a police car that a serial rapist was put into.
I’ve also done a few witness appeals for crimes I was investigating.

Always used to wonder how to be an extra and things like that. No time now. Not tv but my mate when I was at Sheffield Uni used to get £10 for going into a police line up.

Interviewed outside Wembley by Sky before the infamous Charlton 4-4 Final, I said Quinn and Phillips would hammer them, got it partly right, forgot the bit about our defence.
Also did a couple of interviews for TTTV when I worked for the Smoggies which were community related.
The fame hasn't changed me one bit.

Back in the mid 90’s I was on a show where employers rang in to do an on screen interview. I got a job at Wilton from it!!

I was also on a sky “talent” show where I sang. Sadly I chose Let me entertain you. Should’ve chosen a better song!

bet nobody admits to “Jim’ll fix it”!!

Unfortunately I got paid nowt. The filming took place outside the Hind Hotel in Wellingborough. The production company wanted to film a police car driving off from the location. I was on night shift that day and was told to park up outside the hotel in my police car and when the van carrying the rapist drove off, I was to follow it. So that’s what I did. The clip showed me getting into the drivers seat and then driving off. All of five seconds.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/319446.stm

I was also on national telly driving a car in a BP advert along with a hundred or so others. Got paid $50 a day for four days. I was in the army at the time and the barracks I was at was close to the filming location so they just asked the OC if they could have a few soldiers to drive the cars in formation up a runway.

Also got interviewed on Look East in Milton Keynes about my views on Myra Hindley when she lodged one of her many appeals to be let out.

You would think that international fame and fortune would follow from all of that but it didn’t.

Watchdog came to our farm as we complained that the washing powder advert was rubbish, so they took our clothes away, washed them, and told everybody on watchdog that we were right, the washing powder was crap.

Been on a few times for various things but really missed out when I was bodyguarding Donatella Versace in St Tropez.

CH4 or 5, can't remember now, filmed us for a month going out on yachts, parties with the rich & famous, club nights at the Caves du Roy with Bruce Willis, Puff Daddy, etc.

I was loving it tbh and told loads of people.

Then the daft cow had one of her strops and refused to sign it off so it was scrapped ...

.... I could've punched her in the mouth, there'd have been no evidence <laugh>

Played an extra drinking beer in the pub
Got paid more for 5 secs of fame than i did for a weeks work.
