The government hasn't sent out the right message and people are reverting to normal behaviour.
This is echoed in their decision to allow places of worship to open:

They aren't taking it seriously because they don't care about it. They just want to avoid accountability.

Right now, I fully agree.

When the country ends up back in lockdown, just as the rest of Europe is opening up and re-starting something approaching 'normality', that may change...

It seem's to be similar to a soldier at the front thinking "that bullet won't get me,it'll get someone else." Famous last words!!!!

What is it about this guy that has elevated him from overrated overpaid footballer to some kind of spokesman for his generation?
Raheem Sterling says:
"the only disease right now is the racism that we are fighting"

Well I kind of get what he's saying but there's so many problems with that statement that I don't really need to get into. There are people with a genuine grievance but is this the time? Surely people are going to get infected and die and the virus is going to spread again. And if Black Lives Matter then do they matter to the organisers of demonstrations? Clearly demos have more an effect if they occur within short term memory of the incident, but surely the current special circumstances should be taken into account?

The way that he's been treated by the media. He was singled out and slaughtered for everything and it looked pretty racist.

That's 2012 Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney marching in a Black Lives Matter Protest yesterday.
He's been positioning himself as a sensible alternative to Trump for a while now.
He voted to convict him in his impeachment and has made a lot of smaller moves to distance himself.

Nations have been up to mischief since B.C. Britain were just one.
One lot were responsible for throwing my tea in the drink and becoming a nation of engine oil drinkers, sorry! I went coffee!

Yorkshire Tea used to be our favourite brand until our local supermarkets stopped carrying it.!

Best beer I ever had was Norwich Bitter when visiting Well-on-Sea.

Keep our food and drink out of politics, please!!!!

So, masks are to be mandatory on public transport and the mad idea of reopening schools to all pupils isn't going ahead.

Who would have thought...?

Oh yeah, that would be pretty much everyone not involved in this dickhead administration. It's hard not to despair.
So we've gone from taking the piss out of people for wearing masks back in February/March to making them mandatory on public transport in June

Slight problem: at no point between the two has there been a sufficient supply of masks available to the public...

I haven't seen hand sanitizer on shelves since the pandemic started.I wonder if the shop employees make the first grab of same, paper towels, toilet paper etc?
