On the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre, let's look back at what Trump said about it in 1990:
“When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it.”
“Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength. That shows you the power of strength."
"Our country is right now perceived as weak … as being spit on by the rest of the world.”

Thanks to you,you idiot!

Oh joy, Candace Owens has been told now is the time to make white Republicans think that they're not so bad, and she didn't disappoint by saying that as George Floyd had previously been arrested for minor drug offences he is neither a martyr or a hero

Somehow at no point in that statement did she suggest that maybe having a police officer kneel on his neck for nine minutes until he died might be the important point here...

THE SADDEST PART OF 2016 WAS SEEING HOW MANY PEOPLE BELIEVED THE WORST RUMORS ABBOUT A WOMAN WHILE IGNORING FACTS ABOUT A MAN.

America's sorry,Hillary. They knew not what they did. They bloody know now!!!!!!

On the one hand Seely has a plausible excuse for this, as he's the MP for the Isle of Wight

On the other hand, he absolutely can be criticised for having several people violate lockdown guidelines so they could join him for a barbequeue several hundred miles and a body of water away from their homes

Guns, guns, and more guns. I've never understood America's fascination for guns. Why do they need them? They pretty much killed off the Indians.......and now some are allowed to wear guns hidden on their bodies! Don't they like their neighbours!!!!?....or workmates? Do they all think once they leave their homes someone could jump on them?
Are people in Britain wearing hidden guns? .....and I don't mean baddies!

If they don't have guns how are they going to feel manly? It's not like most Americans can even see their penises due to the expanded gutline in the way...

A police horse was running free at the London protest a while ago, after the mounted officer ran himself into a traffic light. <doh>

So a few of the usual suspects on the far right are sharing a clip of a police horse running loose through the protests and are trying to claim that it was the protesters that dragged the copper off the horse because they're unruly mongrels who need to be stopped

One slight problem: here's footage of what actually removed the copper from his horse, and it looks uncannily like a traffic light...
